What I've led

Leading has never been the other job.

Two church districts in South Africa, a decade of camps, and a whole-school platform rollout.

01

Led adults who could walk away

Seven years of boards, budgets, volunteers and mediation, across two districts and three congregations at a time. Nobody had to turn up; they did — and every week I had to give them something worth turning up for. A staffroom is not the harder room.

02

Trained a faculty

As Toddle Coordinator I led the whole-school rollout — training, documentation, a champion in every team — then made myself unnecessary. Teachers still use it long after the training day.

03

Rebuilt a difficult class

I inherited a Grade 2 cohort with frequent incidents and strained parent trust. Firm-but-fair, collaborative work, daily check-ins treated as real data. By the end of the year it ran itself.
